Lent 2026: A Season of Renewal and Conversion
Lent is a sacred season in the Church year … a time set aside for prayer, reflection, penance, and renewal of heart.
In 2026, Lent begins on Wednesday, February 18, with the observance of Ash Wednesday, marking the start of our 40-day journey toward Easter.

Ash Wednesday – February 18, 2026
On Ash Wednesday, we are reminded of our human frailty and our constant need for God’s mercy. Ashes, placed on our foreheads in the sign of the cross, call us to repentance, humility, and conversion.
There will be two Masses on Ash Wednesday:
9:00 AM
7:00 PM
Both Masses will include the service and the imposition of ashes.
Please note: ashes will not be distributed on any other day.
The ashes serve as a visible reminder to intentionally mark Lent as a season of penance … turning away from sin and renewing our commitment to live the Gospel more fully.
Throughout Lent, the faithful are invited to walk prayerfully with Christ through His Passion.
Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent at 7:00 PM.
This devotion offers a quiet and powerful opportunity to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and to unite our own struggles and prayers with His.
