OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE FEAST DAY

December 12, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast Day – Event Overview

On December 12th, we gather in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, celebrating her feast day and the profound spiritual significance she holds for the Catholic community. This evening is an opportunity to learn, reflect, pray, and come together as a parish family in devotion and fellowship.

What the Event Is About

The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe commemorates the Marian apparitions that took place in 1531, when the Blessed Mother appeared to Saint Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill in Mexico. Her message of compassion, unity, and hope continues to inspire millions around the world. This celebration helps us deepen our understanding of the history, meaning, and enduring impact of these events on the Church and on the lives of the faithful today.

What Will Happen During the Event

The evening begins in the parish hall with a documentary on Our Lady of Guadalupe. This film offers an accessible and informative look at the historical accounts, the miraculous tilma, and the cultural and spiritual importance of the apparitions.

After the documentary, there will be an opportunity for veneration of a 2nd Class relic of Our Lady of Guadalupe, allowing attendees a moment of personal prayer and reflection in her presence.

The night concludes with time for social gathering—a chance for our community to come together, share in conversation, and enjoy fellowship as we close the celebration around 9:00 pm.
