Overview
All are welcome!

Come celebrate at St. Monica’s and sing Alleluia as the Lord Jesus is Risen.  Easter Sunday is the most important celebration of the year and is often called the solemnity of solemnities. We will follow our usual Sunday schedule with 4 different Masses: 8 am (no music), 9:30 am, 11 am, and 7 pm.  Overflow seating will be available in the parish hall, where the Mass will be streamed on a large screen.

“The tomb is empty; Jesus is alive! By his death, Christ has freed us from sin, and by his resurrection, he has conquered death itself. Easter is the joy at the heart of our faith: Jesus is risen, and his victory brings new life and hope to the world.

For those who did not attend the Easter Vigil, parishes offer Easter Sunday Mass. Like the women who came to the tomb at dawn, we gather as witnesses to the wonder of the resurrection. We hear the story of the empty tomb and allow the incredible truth to refresh our faith.

Easter invites us to live as people of hope. When the women encountered the risen Jesus, they ran to tell others. We are called, too, to bring the Good News to our families and communities.”
