Fr. Connor O’Hara

Associate Pastor

Father Connor O’Hara was born in Ottawa, where he has spent most of his life. He is one of five children born to his parents. Fr. Connor completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa before entering St. Augustine’s Seminary of Toronto in 2016. Fr. Connor has spent his summers working for the Properties and Administration department of the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall. His hobbies include the pipe organ, hiking, backcountry camping, and ice hockey. Fr. Connor is coming to us from his first assignment as a priest at Holy Redeemer Parish.

Janice Pilgrim

Administrative Assistant

My name is Janice Pilgrim. I became a resident of Barrhaven in 1996 and I have been a parishioner at St. Andrew Parish since the very first Mass. I became involved with the music ministry almost immediately.

I began volunteering at the parish office and in June 2008, I was hired to be a liaise with the parish schools and to coordinate the school age sacraments. In 2014, I began I assumed responsibility as the School Age Sacrament Coordinator for St. Monica Parish. I fully enjoyed working with families as they prepared their children for the sacraments until March 2019. In early April 2019, I began my new position of Office Administrator for both St. Andrew and St. Monica Parishes.

I believe that my work and my contact with parishioners helps keep my faith focused on what is truly important, to believe in Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Saviour.
